Feng Shui and the Family

One of the basic principles of Feng Shui is that we need to live in harmony with our environment. Especially for the Family, it is essential to take some basic advice to heart, as it can have a massive impact on the family unit.

Aspects that are affected are the health of the family members, financial matters, relationships within the family (ie Mum and Dad, and also the relationships between the other family members) and general luck of the individual family members.

Feng Shui can ensure that the right measures are taken to enhance the marriage, so that the happiness of the whole family improves. It can be that a family has recently moved, and has experienced trouble since. Ponds outside your door, prickly plants in your house can all be the culprit.

You may also be sleeping with your head in the wrong direction. With some simple and easy measures this can often be remedied. Children can go through phases where they are rebellious or have health problems. Simply changing their sleeping direction can make all the difference. Bookshelves should not face a sleeping person. Often there are beams overhead, shelves or blinds that represent sharp knives cutting someone up! Making sure that children sleep in the right place, as this can improve their study results and general health. The bed must never be under a slanting roof or beams. A slanting roof can have the effect that the person's head literally is restricted which results in difficulties whilst studying.
